Genethel Mildred Duncan, age 89 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Laurels of Huber Heights. She was born May 24, 1929 in Newry, South Carolina to the late William and Blanche Cox.
Genethel will be missed by her loving husband of 69 years, Carl Duncan; sons, Michael (Julia) Duncan, Rick Duncan, Phillip (Sheila) Duncan, Ted (Debbie) Duncan and Gerald (Laura) Duncan; adopted son, Royce (Carolyn) Sweatman; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Sonny) Goff and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio, Pastor Marvin Engle, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Huber Heights Baptist Church.
