Gene Edward Templin, age 71 of Huber Heights, passed away March 4, 2016. He was born August 11, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phryne Bourquin.
Gene is survived by his wife of 31 years, Virginia Templin; son, William Templin; step-sons: Steven Schaefer and Paul Schaefer; and 5 step-grandchildren.
Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served our country during the Vietnam era. He worked at Dayton Power & Light as a Road Mechanic and retired on January 1, 2015 after 48 years of service.
At his request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gene's memory to The Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
