Gary Wayne"Turtle" Cole

Gary Wayne Cole, aka "Turtle", age 55 of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. He was born November 4, 1958 in Knoxville, TN to the late Jesse and Mae Irene Cole. Turtle was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry King and sister-in-law, Janie Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Treva L. Cole; sons, Gary W. Cole II and wife, Sarah, Josh Cole and wife, Iva and Aaron Cole; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Gene, Margo, Eddie, Mickey, Chaunda, Vickie, Angel, Jett, Jackie and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Turtle spent many years on the softball diamond with many of his dear friends. He also hunted and fished with numerous friends as well. Turtle was a member of the North Dayton Anglers Club and a devoted grandfather.
