Gary Nicholas Wagner

Gary Nicholas Wagner, age 81 of Centerville, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024. He was born May 24, 1943, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Edwin and Frances Wagner.

Gary was a member of the Elks and the Human Factors Society. He was also a member of Incarnation - Our Lady of Light. He attended St. Gregory and St. Mary Seminaries and is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where he was a U.D. basketball fan for over 50 years. Gary retired from NCR after 35 years of employment.

Gary will be remembered for being an avid golfer and fisherman. He saw the good in everyone. Most importantly, he loved his family and was a wonderful husband for 57 years.

Gary is survived by his wife, Mary; siblings, Dennis (Jane) Wagner, Cindy (Tony) Wagner, Lisa (Rog) Steinke; sisters-in-law, Jinny (Ron) Holstein, Connie Brandon; brothers-in-law, Tom (Pam) Pottkotter, Ken Pottkotter, Terry Pottkotter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Brandon; and niece, Karen Wagner.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at Incarnation Catholic Parish (7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville, OH 45459). Mass will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
