Garrett Wesley Scott Jr., age 88 of Dayton, passed away on July 29, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1936 to the late Garrett Wesley Scott Sr. & Antoinette Lerro Scott.
In addition to his parents, Garret was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Sandra Scott; his sister, Phyllis (Howard) Camp; nephews: Mark Camp & Stephan Jackson.
He is survived by his children: David Scott, Linda Seale, and Michael (Jennifer) Scott; grandchildren: Robert Scott, Douglas Scott, Stephanie (Mike) Burton, Joseph Seale, Richard Seale, Kelsie Lee Scott, Sasha Scott, and Addie Pie Scott; great-grandchildren: Julian, Mazin, Zada, Avacyn; and niece & nephew: Christy & Randy.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Following the service, Garrett will be laid to rest with his wife, Sandra, at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
