Gardner Ross Schlesinger

Gardner Ross Schlesinger, age 23, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away January 16th, 2020 at home. He was born March 14th, 1996 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents, Arthur and Gigi (Gardner) Schlesinger.

Gardner had the most loving heart, and deeply loved his entire family. He was adventurous, inquisitive, and had a quick wit. Gardner loved, and had passion for animals, especially his dog, and favorite companion "Ink", his cat "Buzz", along with "Brandi", "Precious" ,"Chance" and "Cupcake".

Gardner was a 2015 graduate of Beavercreek High School and attending Miami University. He was a member of the Beavercreek High School Volleyball and Air City Volleyball Club. He loved volleyball where he enjoyed playing for his high school team, The Battling Beavers. Also, at Beavercreek he was a member of track and field, football and soccer. As a child he enjoyed dancing and being on stage but especially loved the girls around him.

Gardner was preceded in death by Mary Schlesinger, Kurt Schlesinger, William Gardner(Grandpa Boss), Bernie Karns, and Ink.

Gardner is survived by his mother, Gigi Gardner; father, Arthur Schlesinger, Jeff Sabo, Dara Schlesinger, Elizabeth Karns-Poole, Don Poole, Diana Gardner, Gina Walther, Jamey Walther, Thomas Schlesinger, Sudha Schlesinger, and Justin Rudd.

The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Newcomer-Beavercreek Chapel, 338- Dayton-Xenia Road. Service will follow at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
