Gail Rae Poorman

Gail Rae Poorman, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio. She was born to the late William and Hazel Hall on May 24, 1946, in Manchester, Kentucky.

Gail was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She will be remembered by those who knew her as an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan who never missed a game. She also loved playing euchre with her card club friends, reading and watching Harry Potter, and following national politics. She had a successful career at Sears where she served as a pricing manager, a role in which she took great pride.

Gail is survived by her children,John Pelphrey, Jennifer (Chad) Arnett, and Thomas Poorman; and grandson, Jackson Arnett. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Dale Poorman; son, Brian Dale Poorman; and brother, Jim Hall.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek.
