Aydelott , Frederick, M. Jr., 93, of Dayton, passed away February 12, 2016 at Lane Park Assisted Living Facility.
Fred was born October 5, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frederick M., Sr. and Velma Aydelott. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1940 and was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving with the 2nd Chemical Battalion Red Dragons. He was involved in the airborn assault in a glider during the operation "Dragoon" on August 15, 1944. Fred married Helen J.(Thomas) in 1946. He was employed with Delco Products for 40 years. He was an active member of the Milton Club creating many lifelong friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, 2 sons, Gary F. and Barry R. Aydelott, 5 brothers, Richard, William, Donald, Dennis and Robert, and 1 sister, Jonelle.
Survived by 2 daughters, Denise "Cookie" (Al) Pennington, Cathy "Cuppy" (Darrell) Ramey; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister, Janet (Dave) Brun, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Fred always brought joy, laughter and smiles wherever he went. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
