Franklin D. "Lane" Gabbard
Age 72, of Riverside, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at The Hospice of Dayton.
Lane was born December 2, 1938 in River Hill, Kentucky to the late Dewey & Della (Moore) Gabbard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Lane is survived by his wife of the past 39 years, Mary I. (Overbay) Gabbard; one daughter, Sandra "Sandy" (Cliff) Wicker; two sons, Ronnie Lee & Gregory Arthur Gabbard; two siblings, Samuel (Joyce) Gabbard & Floella Cunagin; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday (5/2) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
