Franklin D. Collins

Franklin Delano Collins, age 77 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2018. He was born in Tinga, Georgia to the late Robert and Stella Mae Collins. Franklin enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature during his free time. He retired from Teamster's Union 957 after many years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob Raymond Setty and son-in-law, Mark Burton.

Franklin leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 58 years, Ann Collins; children, Debra Ann Burton, Debbie Louise (Dwayne) Setty, Franklin Dennis (Marcie) Collins, and Paul Allen (Kelly) Collins; sisters, Sandra (Irvine)Hodges and Sheila (Dale) Fry; grandchildren, Charlie (Kirsten) Setty, Casey (Ryan) Craig, Mark (Melissa) Burton, Leslie (John) Mitchell, Krissandra Burton, Veronica Collins, Troy Collins, Tyler (Katie) Collins, Derek (Mallori) Jones, Dylan (MacKensie)Jones, Rachel Garland, and Tanner Grober; great-grandchildren, Felicity Mitchell, Wyatt Burton, Jackson Burton, Maverick Burton, C.J. Setty, Levi Setty, Shyann Craig, Annabelle Craig, Parker Collins, Lukas Jones, Grace Helton, Noah Garwood, Alison Burton, and Camrynn Nickell; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:30am at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
