Frank Dean Nelson, Sr., age 45 of Dayton, passed away October 7, 2019. He was born November 20, 1973 in Dayton to Franklin Roberson and Maxine (Smith) Nelson, and they both survive. Dean was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Selby; maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Goldie Mae Smith; paternal grandmother, Nannie Lou Farley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Nelson; son, Frank Dean Nelson, Jr. "Frankie"; daughter, Tabitha Marie; brothers, Kenneth (Stasha) Smith and Roger (Julie) Roberson; sisters, Donna (Dave) Baker and Darlene (Danny) Nelson; nieces and nephews, Kenny Jr (Stephanie), David, Christina (Ronnie), Tiffany, Red, Heather, Michael, Hailey and numerous great-nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Dean was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. Dean was an extremely proud father to Frankie and they had a bond that could not be broken. He loved and adored his daughter, Tabitha, he couldn't have been any happier with all her accomplishments.
Family will receive friends from 12-4 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 4 PM.
