Frank Dix III, age 80 of St. Marys, OH, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. He was born June 24, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to Frank and Louise (Gellert) Dix.
Frank graduated from Chaminade High School in 1956 and lived at Otterbein Lifestyle Community in St. Mary's . He enjoyed wood carving and loved to fish. Frank enjoyed traveling with his family to Florida, was always there with a helping hand and enjoyed their company. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Frank is survived by his sister, Bertha A. (Edmund) Kolaczkowski; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Entombment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
