Francis L. Brown, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 93, in Kettering, Ohio. Born on May 14, 1932, in Beavercreek, Ohio, Francis lived a life rich in faith, service, and family.
A proud graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 1951, Francis worked diligently throughout his career, working as an Assemblyman at NCR and later applying his skills as a Shopkeep and Driver for Dayton Clutch. His strong work ethic and commitment to his tasks were a reflection of his dependable personality.
Francis was known for his generous spirit and deep-rooted faith, which played a significant role in shaping his character. He was a devoted member of Northridge Free Will Baptist Church for many years, where he found joy in serving others and connecting with his community.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Francis cherished time spent in his garden and tended to his lawn, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing the earth around him. He was a giver by nature, loyal to his loved ones, and his faith meant the world to him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his two sons, Mark (Susan) Brown and Jeff (Diana) Brown. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Amanda (Tony) Obringer and Alan (Stacey) Brown, as well as his great-grandchildren, Claire Obringer, Avery Obringer, and Mara Brown; and his niece and nephews.
Francis is reunited in spirit with his beloved wife, Frances Brown; their daughter, Karen Brown; as well as his parents, Denver and Addie Brown; and siblings, Cecil Brown, Beverly Perkins, and Carolyn Brown.
Family and friends are invited to honor Francis’s memory at a Visitation held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM, all will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Burial will follow the services at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
Francis L. Brown will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedication to family, and the positive impact he made on those around him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.
