Frances Jean Young, age 68 of Huber Heights, formerly of Urbana, passed away September 7, 2018. She was born July 12, 1950 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Jean was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Grace Zirkle and Everine Dearwester; and brothers: Eddie Zirkle and Jeff Zirkle.
Jean is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael "Bear" Young; children: Michelle Kindle, Joyce Westfall and Steven (Shannon) Young; 6 grandchildren: Philip, Joseph, Brittany, CariAnn, Jessica and Megan; 5 great-grandchildren: Levi, Justice, Ella, Jason and Kaden; brothers and sisters: Clinton, Mary (Tom) Sanders, Kenny, Connie, Lori, Bobbie Jo, Charlie Jo and Michael; brother-in-law, Gregg Young; special friends: Paula Grody, Gary Ledford and Bill Dolby; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is also survived by her beloved cat, George.
Jean enjoyed reading, crocheting and playing on her computer.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5555 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, with a reception immediately following in the church parlor.
