Florence W. Harrington, age 97, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 14, 2017.
Florence was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Harrington; great-grandson, Robert Thomas Konicki; and siblings, Floyd Winkle and Mildred Pickett.
Florence is survived by her granddaughter, Robin (Jim) Konicki; great-grandsons, Andrew and Joshua Konicki; daughter-in-law, Carol Harrington; sister, Mona Walter; and many other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11am at the funeral home. Florence will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
