Fannie L. Watkins
June 13, 1940 — January 4, 2018
Fannie L. Watkins, age 77 of Riverside, passed away January 4, 2018 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born on June 13, 1940 in Powell County, KY to the late Willard and Mary (Ballard) Hatton. In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Watkins on October 29, 2013 and son-in-law, Otis Moore on May 21, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Darrell (Debbie) Watkins, Teresa (Chris) Hamm, Charlotte Moore, Eric Watkins, Marsha (Shane) Hall and Michael Watkins; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; siblings, Argel (Gloria) Hatton and Glen (Morgan) Hatton; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Fannie was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church. She worked and retired from Rite Aid on Smithville/Linden Ave. Fannie's passion was being with her family and friends and always having a good time with them.
Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM with Pastor Jack Little officiating. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
