Evelyn Rose Morgan

MORGAN, Evelyn Rose, age 70 of Jeffersonville, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2017. She was born in Owensboro, KY to the late Hazel and James Sorrells. Rose graduated from Fairborn High School. Rose met and married Timothy Morgan in 1963. She had a knack for finding a good deal and enjoyed listening to blue grass music. Rose loved her family and particularly enjoyed spending the holidays with her loved ones. She was a caring, loving, and compassionate mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Morgan; and brothers, Don Sorrells and James "June Bug" Sorrells.

Rose leaves to cherish her memory, children, Lynette (Larry Lovely) Newman and Timothy (Sundee) Morgan; grandchildren, Tiffany, Savannah, T.J., Justin, Josh, Shane, Ryan, and Kaitlyn Rose; sister, Barb Gibson; brothers, Jerry Sorrells, David Sorrells, and Gary Sorrells; great-grandchildren, Willow, Jesse James, Jasmine, Scarlet, Avery, Timothy Rhett, Timothy Wayne, Addilynn, and Garrett; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. A visitation will be held for one hour prior (12pm-1pm). Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery.
