Caplinger, Evalee, 90, of Huber Heights, passed away December 23, 2016.
She was born September 19, 1926 in Jackson, KY to the late John and Sarah Elizabeth (Merrill) Noble.
Evalee loved to bowl and to go shopping for costume jewelry at thrift stores and dime stores.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Patricia Elizabeth Caplinger, and by 8 siblings.
Evalee is survived by 3 children, Joseph (Patricia) Caplinger, Sandra (Edward) Zigmann, Gary (Mary) Caplinger; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend, Amy, who was a volunteer with Evercare Hospice.
Visitation will be held 9:30am until 10:30am on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., where funeral service will follow at 10:30am. Burial at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.
