Eulah June Leadingham, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted member of her community, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 20, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on September 21, 1931, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Eulah lived a life characterized by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
A proud graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1951, Eulah embraced the roles she held throughout her life with great dedication. As a homemaker, she created a warm and loving environment for her family. Additionally, Eulah served for 24 years in the cafeteria at West Carrollton Elementary School.
Eulah's life was enriched by her many interests and hobbies. She found joy in sewing, embroidering and cherished trips and activities spent with her family, particularly relishing the time spent with her grandchildren. A faithful member of First Grace Brethren Church for many years, she found special fulfillment in participating in the church's women's ministry. One of her treasured experiences was the trip to the Holy Land, which stands as a testament to her deep faith. She also attended West Carrollton Wesleyan Church, where her spirit of service was felt by all who knew her.
Eulah is survived by her daughter, Julia (James) Marshall; her son, James Leadingham; granddaughter, Bethany Marshall-Rike; great-grandchildren, Grahm Rike and Charlotte Doolin; sister-in-laws, JoAnne Weese, Ruth Weese, and Lillian Leadingham; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Eulah was preceded in death by her parents, Hoadley and Bessie Weese; her husband, James Leadingham; and her siblings, Leroy Weese, Logan Weese, Eugene Weese, Albert Weese, Catherine Sollars, Elma Jones, and Wanda Riley.
Eulah’s legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind a cherished memory of a life devoted to family, faith, and service to others.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Pastor Bruce Jackson to officiate.
