Ethel Faye Horton

Ethel Faye Horton, age 97, of Beavercreek, passed away September 17, 2026. Faye was born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky on February 23, 1929 to the late Ernest and Bess Greene.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 plus years, Charles Horton.

She is survived by son, Brad (Cynthia) Horton; sister, Alva Jo Greene and brother, Ernie Greene.

Faye retired from Dayton City Schools after many years of service. She was a former member of the Fairborn Baptist Church.

In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and visiting with family and friends.

Faye was a kind, loving, god-fearing traditional southern woman. She will be missed by her family and friends.
