Esperenza L. Kelty

Esperanza L. Kelty, 79, of Trotwood, passed away April 12, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico on October 13, 1937 to Pablo and Margarita (Jimenez) Lopez. She married Dennis Kelty in 1965 in Tijuana, Mexico.
Esperanza loved spending time with her grandkids, loved to cook and gardening. She loved watching television and especially enjoyed the show Telenovelas. She especially loved her family and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her seven children, Joel (Ermie) Kelty, Guadalupe (Jim) Woolum, Carl Kelty, Brenda (Larry Michael) Kelty-Williams, Dennis (Anna Jane) Kelty, Joseph (Sarah Lapitan) Kelty and Kathy (Michael) Kelty-Williams; 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; one sister and six brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424. A visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Dayton (Ohio Hospice), 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
