Ernie Cole

Ernie Cole, age 90, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

He was born March 3, 1930 in Frenchburg, Kentucky to the late Tolby and Bertha (Agee) Cole. He retired from Miami Paper Co. March 31, 1994 after more than 60 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Rosa Lee Cole, two grandson, Rodney Hoel and Ronnie Hoel, along with two brothers, Stanley Cole and Lloyd Cole and his sister Rosalie Sensabaugh.

Ernie is survived by his children, Carolyn (Bill) Maiden, Debbie (Jimmy) Hoel, Marsha (Dennis Shivener) Cole; grandkids, Ricky Hoel, Cindy Kirk, Theresa Via; great-grandkids, James Timothy "J.T." Hoel, Jessica Clark, John Phillips, Kylie Via, Stevie Kirk, and his great-great-grandkids, Scarlett Phillips and Grayson Clark.

Ernie was the best dad. He was very friendly, never met a stranger and was a hard worker. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Ernie will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Rosa Lee at Evergreen Cemetery.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
