Ernest Sizemore Sr. (8/11/1940 - 4/17/2016)
Ernest, age 75, of Harrison Township, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, 7:50 a.m. at Kindred Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1940 son of Elbert and Mae Sizemore.
Ernest is preceded in death by his Wife Escline Sizemore (Gambrel); Parents Elbert and Mae (Saylor) Sizemore, Father/Mother-In-Law Ross and Cordie (Patterson) Gambrel; Brother-in-laws, Asberrie Gambrel, Dan Gambrel, Denver Caudill, Leonard Caudill, Donald Lee Gambrel, John Gambrel, Sam Dye, Clarence Honeycutt Sr. and; Sister-in-law, Wanda Gambrel (Messer), Irene Honeycutt (Gambrel).
Ernest is survived by his children to cherish his memories, Ernest Sizemore, Jr. (Cheryl Kohler), Gary Sizemore of Dayton, OH, Frank (Tina) Sizemore of Union, OH, Jennifer (Alan) Faulkner of Vandalia, OH. Ernest was greatly loved and will be missed by his 9 Grandchildren, Matthew Sizemore, Courtney (Zach) Purvis, Emily Sizemore, Benjamin Sizemore, Jered Sizemore, Madison Faulkner, Hannah Faulkner, A.J. Faulkner and Alan Faulkner III; 1 great-grandchild, Jaxson Rolfes.
Ernest also leaves behind 2 Brothers, Frank (Darlene) Sizemore and Carl (Linda) Sizemore, 2 Sisters Rachel Williams (Sizemore) and Glady's Caudill (Sizemore); 2 Sister-in-laws, Gennie Dye (Gambrel) and Bobbie Cox (Gambrel) and 1 Brother-in-law Lloyd (Edith) Gambrel.
Ernest was a loving, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5pm-7pm with a funeral service to follow on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will take places at Forest Hills, Tipp City.
