Barnett, Ernest A., "Ernie", 67 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 29, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie Barnett, his parents, Clifton and Bertha Barnett, 3 sisters, Mart, Betty, Sharon, 4 brothers, James, Dewey, Ralph and Luther.
Ernie is survived by son, Josh Ralston; 2 sisters, Trudy Pennington, Ethel (Dave) Fleming; 6 grandchildren; numerous, nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be remembered for his generous heart and his love of fishing and dancing.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dayton and Patriot Ridge Community for their dedication and kindness.
Visitation will be held 12:30pm until the time of service at 1:30pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial at Willow View Cemetery.
If desired donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ernie's memory.
