Eric Michael Jenkins

Our beloved Eric Michael Jenkins, age 69, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2026, as a result of complications due to a stroke earlier in the year. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 3, 1957 to the late James L. and Patricia M. (nee Ingle) Jenkins. He enjoyed a wonderful life growing up in Kettering until the family's move to Xenia in late 1972.

After High School, Eric went to work for his father at the Sunoco full service and auto repair station in Belmont. Eric left in 1981 and landed a career in Auto Parts retail until he was hired onto General Motor in the mid-90's. He retired from GM in 2019.

He was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his siblings: Julia (Dave), Christopher (Sandy) and Kent; and also many nieces, nephews, cousins, his uncles and aunts. Eric was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
