A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Eric bravely served during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged on January 17, 1955.
Beyond his professional accolades, Eric was an avid golfer, continuing to hit the greens well into his 80s. He had a deep appreciation for travel, often reflecting fondly on his visit to Whidbey Island, and was a true connoisseur of fine wine-a hobby that delighted both him and those fortunate enough to share a glass with him.
