Emily Nichole Stanley, a bright light and loving soul, was born on January 12, 1981, in Kettering, Ohio. She passed away on May 4, 2026, in her birthplace of Kettering, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and deep familial love that touched all who knew her. Emily’s life was one marked by joy, humor, and an outgoing spirit that made her presence unforgettable.
A graduate of Beavercreek High School’s class of 1999, Emily carried with her a playful wit and a great sense of humor that brought smiles and comfort to many. She was funny and loving, a person who thrived on making others laugh and feel cherished. Her vibrant personality radiated through her passions and pastimes, as she cherished the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. Whether camping under the stars, riding motorcycles with her dad, or enjoying shopping trips with her mom, Emily’s zest for life was contagious.
Emily’s pride and joy were her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Mason and Lexi Delabar, and her granddaughter, Emery Delabar. The love she held for them was boundless, and their presence in her life was a constant source of happiness. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, creating memories full of love and joy. Among family, Emily was known as a fun and caring aunt who delighted in doing hair and makeup for Danielle and Brittany and for her sisters, Katie and Caroline Stanley. Her brother, Danny Brodnick and his wife Lisa, along with her nieces Brittany Ball and Danielle Brodnick, great-niece Ava Ball, and many other relatives, felt privileged to know her generosity and vibrant spirit.
Emily was also deeply loved by her mother, Deborah Dunaway, and her father, Ron Stanley, along with his wife Barbara. Her extended family, including her uncle Rex Collins and other cherished relatives and friends, will remember her as the heart of their gatherings, someone whose laughter and outgoing nature could brighten even the darkest days.
Though her step-father, Len Dunaway, and her grandparents Frank and Jean Turner, and Archie and Mae Stanley have passed, their memory remains beautifully intertwined with hers, underscoring a family legacy rooted in love and strength.
The visitation and funeral service to honor Emily’s life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. These moments will offer friends and family a chance to reflect on a remarkable life that was full of laughter, love, and adventure.
Emily Nichole Stanley’s passage leaves a void that words cannot fill, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved so dearly. She embraced life with a magnetic energy that inspired others to find joy, cherish family, and approach every day with kindness and humor.
