Emily E. Smith, 75, of Beavercreek, passed away April 14, 2017. Emily was born in Kona, Kentucky on April 5, 1942 to the late William and Pauline Addington. Emily worked as a registered nurse for many years for Miami Valley Hospital, Crestview Manor and Fidelity homecare. In her free time she enjoyed attending church at the Way of the Cross, playing bingo and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her brothers, Wiiliam Cecil Addington and David Leeland Addington.
She is survived by her husband fo 45 years, Durrell Smith; son, David (Laura) Smith; daughter, Rebecca (Thomas Flayler) Smith; granddaughter, Kayla Smith; sister, Judith Hoskins; uncle, Robert Hooper; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 10am - 11:30am at Way of the Cross Open bible, 612 Beatrice Drive, Dayton, OH 45404, where services will begin at 11:30am.
