Emil Kahler, Jr., age 84 of Dayton, Ohio and formerly Burtonsville, Maryland, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at Grandview Hospital. He was born April 19, 1936 in Goodrich, North Dakota to the late Emil and Leontina Kahler.
Emil spent 39 years as an educator, both as a teacher and a principal.
In addition to his parents, Emil was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna; son, Emil Kahler, III; granddaughter, Amanda Kahler; brothers, Wesley Kahler and Clifford Kahler
Emil will be missed by his loving son, Michael Kahler; grandson, Emil Kahler, IV; daughter-in-law, Karen Kahler; step-grandsons, Dominic, Nicholas and Coleman; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Kyndra; brother, Floyd Kahler; and sister, Grace Zamaro.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
