Emerald was a cherished daughter to Carley Rider and Frankie Cardoso, who adored her deeply. From the moment she entered their lives, Emerald brought an incomparable light and joy, forging precious bonds that will endure in the hearts of her family.

She was a beloved sister to Rosa'Lee and Zoey, who were looking forward to being older sisters.

Emerald will be deeply cherished by her Gigi, Angel Thompson, Nana Danelle Rider, and her Papa, Jeremy Rider. The love from her great-grandmother, Beverly Schaefer, who preceded Emerald in passing, continues to surround the family and guide them during this difficult time.

Her brief life reminded everyone around her to cherish each day, to love unreservedly, and to value the bonds of family. Though she is no longer physically present, Emerald’s spirit remains a shimmering light in the lives of all who were privileged to know her.
