Elvira Frizzell

FRIZZELL, Elvira (nee: Maier), 83, of Kettering, passed away Friday June 3, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 16, 1928 in Heilbronn, Germany, to Robert and Anna Maier. Ellie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Frizzell; and grandson, Damian.

Survivors include children, Margaret (Stephen) Epling, Beverly (Tom) Schryver, Robert (Sherry) Frizzell, and Russell (Kathy) Frizzell; grandchildren, Brandie, Donald, Michael, Tom, and Julie; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Ellie moved to the United States after she married Donald. In 1959, she proudly became an American citizen and spent the rest of her life providing a loving home for her family as they moved all over the United States and the world for Donald's career. Ellie was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.

Visitation is Monday June 6, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH. Private graveside service will be held for the family.
