Eloise Ginter, a cherished homemaker and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on June 11, 1936, in Kenova, West Virginia, Eloise was a proud graduate of Ceredo Kenova High School, Class of 1952. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, embodying the values of love, generosity, and thoughtfulness that defined her character.
Eloise was well-known for being a fabulous person who had an unwavering love for her family. Her warmth and gentle spirit earned her the affectionate nickname “Honey” from her nieces and nephews, a testament to her caring nature. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including precious moments spent camping at the lake with loved ones.
Eloise found excitement in life’s little adventures, often visiting the casino to play the slot machines alongside her daughter, sister, and niece. These joyous outings were a reflection of her vibrant personality and zest for life.
Eloise is survived by her loving daughter, Vicki (Chris) Andrews; her sons, Bruce “Todd” (Susan) Ginter and Mark Ginter; her grandchildren, Jessica Moore, Jake Ginter, Rachel Andrews, and Laura Ginter; and her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Wren, and Lilly. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Jewel Brown and Mary Sue (Mike) Franklin, who were her steadfast companions and confidantes throughout her life as well as her special nieces, Beverly (Randy) Harris and Janice (Steve) Grizzle.

Eloise was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elba and Faye Cox; her husband of 43 years, Chester “Pete” Ginter; her grandson, Joshua Ginter; and her brothers, Claude Cox and Gene Cox, along with her beloved sister, Wanda Fulks. Each of them holds a special place in her heart, as she does in theirs.
Eloise leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories that will be etched in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
