Elizabeth Ann Miller

Elizabeth Ann Miller, age 71, of Dayton, passed away peacefully with her loving husband on February 23, 2026. Elizabeth was born in Wooster, OH on March 11, 1954 to the late Charles Wm. Finley and Eleanor Edith Finley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wm. Finley of Ashland, OH & Eleanor Edith (Hastings) Finley of Pennsylvania; as well as her brother, Brian Wm Finley.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years of marriage, Jon Scott Miller; daughter, Leanna Parsley (Miller); grandchildren, Savanna, Clara and Charlotte; brother, Scott Thomas Finley of Wooster, OH; sister, Pamela Ann (Finley) Huff of Las Vegas, NV; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Beth attended Wooster High School and transferred to a Technical Training School in the area. She and her husband have resided in Dayton, OH for many years. Elizabeth was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church for 28 years. She taught Sunday school in Wooster, OH and also worked at the Apostolic Lighthouse School.

As a young girl, Beth worked at local Wooster restaurants & craft/yardage stores. She excelled at creating unique crafts to retail to local businesses and share with family and friends. Her fierce loyalty to her friends, family, church and community were commendable. Elizabeth loved canning fruit and vegetables that her husband grew in the garden and was an excellent baker.

She will be missed. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.

Visitation will be held from 5:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church Of Dayton (2221 Harshman Rd, Dayton), with a Celebration of Life being held at 6:30pm. There will be snacks and a coffee bar available for family and friends.
