Elizabeth "Ann" McIntire

Elizabeth "Ann" McIntire, age 68, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 27, 1956, in West Liberty, Kentucky, Ann exemplified the values of hard work, compassion, and resilience throughout her life.

For twelve dedicated years, Ann contributed her talents at Capitol Dry Cleaners, where her caring nature and attention to detail earned her the respect and appreciation of her coworkers and customers alike. She also found great fulfillment as the former owner/operator of Child's Play Day Care, where she nurtured and impacted the lives of countless children and their families. Her thoughtful and hard-working spirit was evident in everything she did, always finding new ways to keep busy and uplift those around her.

Ann had a love for life that extended far beyond her career. She found joy in the simple pleasures of doing puzzles, fishing with her Dad, and tending to her garden, all while cherishing precious moments spent with her family. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where she created a haven for those she loved.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Brian McIntire; her son, Brian (Tammy) Brown; and her cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey Cox, Destiny Cox, Jack Brown, and Connor Brown. Ann is also survived by her siblings, Dean Chaney and Bonnie Chaney Hughes, along with many other loving family members and friends who were lucky enough to know her kind heart.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gracie Chaney; her daughter, Katrina Brown; and her brother, Jimmy Chaney.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek.
