Elizabeth Marie Buckingham
May 12, 1921 — July 29, 2019
Elizabeth Marie "Betty Mae" Buckingham, 98, of Kettering, passed away on July 29, 2019.
Betty stayed at home raising her children as they grew up. She also loved her pets, cooking and baking, and playing bingo later in life.
Betty was very involved in her community, she even passed out cookies to voters during elections.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Joan Buckingham, Irvin (Linda) Buckingham, Jr., Carl Buckingham, and Jimmy Buckingham; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Buckingham, Sr.; and son, Kenny Buckingham.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton, OH).
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, 10 am at the Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton, OH).
Interment immediately after at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
