Elizabeth M. Brock (Kane) "Betty", age 93 of Huber Heights, went to be with her Lord on September 1, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1925 in Johnstown, PA to the late William Sr. and Blodwen (Jones) Kane. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Quinn; sister, Mary Kane; brothers, Bill, David and Jim Kane.
She is survived by nieces, Susan of Dayton, Carol, Maryann and Linda all of North Carolina; nephews, Bill of Dayton and Jim of Indiana; great/grand-nieces and nephews, Jonathon, Daniel Adam, Tyler, Jessica, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rachel, Scott, Candance, Kimberly, Christian, Alex, Thomas, Logan, Christopher; sister-in-law, Ina Mae Kane of Indiana and numerous friends.
Betty was a cat mom for over 50 years. She was employed with WPAFB for 36.5 years. Betty enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dave and Sharon McDowell of Huber Heights, Jennifer Al-Khatib of Centerville, Walt and Joan Rentz of Huber Heights and Eddie Sutton of Dayton for their support and care of Betty.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM with John Wilson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Montgomery County Humane Society, in Betty's memory.
