Elizabeth "Beth" A. Holshouser

Elizabeth A. Holshouser, lovingly known as Beth, passed away on July 21, 2026, in Miamisburg, Ohio, with her devoted husband by her side. Born on January 19, 1962, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Beth lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and joy, leaving an indelible impression on all who knew her.

Beth's presence was a source of fun, love, and comfort to her family and friends. She was often described as kind-hearted and enjoyed being at home, surrounded by the familiar and the loved. Her days were filled with simple joys, and she cherished the quiet moments as much as the lively gatherings. Never one to shy away from a good puzzle or a new book, Beth found immense satisfaction in her hobbies. Reading provided her a world of adventure and solace, while assembling puzzles showcased her patience and curiosity. Technology appealed to her playful side, best expressed through her enjoyment of computer games.

One of Beth's favorite places was the serene Cumberland Lake. Time spent there with loved ones brought her lasting happiness and provided memories that her family will cherish forever. Moments like sharing stories by the lakeside or simply soaking up the tranquility were precious to her.

Beyond her hobbies, Beth's sweet tooth was well known in her circle, particularly her fondness for carrot cake. These small delights were woven into the routines of her life, serving as another way she found joy in the everyday. Her fun and loving spirit made her a cherished companion and confidante.

Beth is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Blanton. She is also remembered, with affection, by her nieces, Angie Walhay and Amber Blanton; her nephew, Nathan Walhay; and by her in-laws, Bobby and Molly Blanton. Beth’s memory remains vibrant among those who knew her best, carrying forward the laughter, love, and kindness she generously shared.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Freda Holshouser; her brother, Freddy Holshouser; and her sister, Tina Blanton. Though their absence has been deeply felt, the family takes comfort in knowing they are now reunited.

Beth’s spirit will live on in the stories shared, the quiet joys remembered, and the lives she touched so gently and profoundly. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to nurture those she leaves behind.
