Eleonore Paeg, age 85 of Dayton, passed away surrounded by her family on December 24, 2018. Eleonore was born in Berlin, Germany in 1933 to the late Berta and Erich Riedel. She married Gunter Paeg and the two shared many happy years together.
Eleonore was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed gardening in her free time. She took great pride in her family and was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Eleonore was preceded in death by her husband, Gunter Paeg; brother, Rudy Riedel; and sister, Christa Zeka.
Eleonore leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Regina (Ken) Fyffe and Ralf (Becky) Paeg; grandchildren, Christy Fyffe, Ryan Fyffe, Alex (Casey) Fyffe, Chelsea (Josh) Haynes, Stefanie Paeg, and Katie Paeg; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kai, Zander, Ellie, Jaxon, and Oliver; and many loving relatives and friends.
Private Family services to be held. In care of Newcomer - North Chapel.
