Eleanor Irene Wheeler, age 74 of Dayton, passed away October 3, 2018. She was born April 19, 1944 to the late Stanley and Naomi Williams. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by two husbands: George F. Watson, Jr., and Mogan Lee Wheeler; son, Kenny Watson; and grandchildren: Anastasia and Nicholas.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Christine Delaware (Robert), Tresa Morgan (Larry), Michelle Nugent (Jr.), George Watson, III (Julie), David Wheeler (Jan) and Teri Cohen (Steve); 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ricky Williams (Deb); sisters: Susan Coots and Patricia McReynolds (Michael); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eleanor was a wonderful seamstress; she loved to camp and cook, but more than anything, she loved her family, and likewise, Eleanor was everything to everyone in her family; she was their rock.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
