Eleanor Mae Webb

Eleanor Mae Webb, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Beavercreek, Ohio, on June 13, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on January 12, 1942, in Rowan County, Kentucky, Eleanor was a vibrant spirit known for her laid-back demeanor and loving nature which endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Eleanor's education began at Rowan County High School, where she graduated in 1959 at just 17 years old. She embarked on a commendable career that began at Bellfair Country Store, dedicating 20 years to the establishment, where she undertook just about every role available. Her career continued as she worked with determination at Elder Beerman Department store, eventually retiring from O'Hair Salon. Her work ethic was matched only by her passion for life and her love for her family, which were her proudest accomplishments.

A heartwarming part of Eleanor's life was her close bond with her sister, Patty. They were known to indulge in shopping excursions that would exhaust anyone else, showcasing their joyous camaraderie and love for life's little pleasures. Eleanor appreciated the finer things in life, enjoying travels to beautiful places, dining at fancy restaurants, and wearing exquisite clothes. Her interests also extended to gardening, infusing beauty into her surroundings with a touch of green.

Eleanor is survived by her loving son, Ronnie Webb Jr., her grandchildren Erica Webb and Dakota Webb Sr., and her adored great-grandchildren Mathis Webb, Leland Webb, Marnie Webb, and Dakota Webb Jr. She also leaves behind her siblings, David "Dickie" Stegall and Patricia "Patty" Lambert, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She now reunites with her husband, Ronnie Webb Sr., who was her high school sweetheart, and with whom she shared 33 wonderful years until his passing in 1993. Eleanor also joins her parents, Arnold Green Stegall and Ruby Jewell Stegall, and her sisters, Mildred "Millie" Williams and Wanda June Stegall, creating an everlasting bond in the embrace of the heavens.

The community is invited to honor and celebrate Eleanor's life at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio. Visitation will take place on June 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that will begin at 3:00 PM.

Eleanor Mae Webb will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love and cherished memories will resonate through her family and friends forever. She lived life to the fullest, leaving behind a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the joy she shared with those she held dear.
