Eldon "Woody" Mowen

Eldon "Woody" Mowen, age 72, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's. He was born to the late Jessie (Pratt) and Eldon Mowen on February 6, 1944 in Jamestown, Ohio. Woody retired from Dayton Pepsi Cola after 38 years of service. Woody was a member of Community Harvest Church of Germantown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Timothy Mowen; brothers Eugene and Donald Mowen and special friend Tim Lee. Woody is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Elaine Mowen; children Christine Ferryman, Sandra Miller, Jennifer Montgomery, Chad Montgomery (daughter Alexandra), Lorie Montgomery; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 4-6pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm. Officiating the service will be Pastor Duane Harney.
