Edwin C. Dow

Edwin C. Dow, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2026, in Springfield at the age of 93. He was born on February 4, 1933, in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

Edwin built a life marked by dedication and steady accomplishment. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Parks School of Engineering in St. Louis, Missouri, an achievement that helped shape a long and meaningful professional career. He went on to work at WPAFB for many years, serving as an Aeronautical Engineer until his retirement. He will be remembered as a dedicated man whose work and commitment reflected both skill and purpose.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ina Dow; his father, Carroll Dow; his mother, Hazel (Clough) Dow; his brother, Everette Dow; and his sister, Shirley Dow.

He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Barbe; his son, Steven (Chantel) Dow; his grandson, Paul Dow; and his sister, Grace Dow. Edwin will be remembered with respect for his years of work, his devotion to family, and the quiet dedication that guided his life. His memory will remain with those who knew and loved him.
