Edward "Randy" R. Hale

Edward Randall Hale, of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away at home on October 4, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio.

Randy graduated from Rogers High School in Toledo and went on to build a career with HTNA, from which he retired in 2010. He will be remembered as a funny, gregarious, and outgoing man whose generous and loving nature left a lasting impression on those around him.

He found joy in many simple and meaningful pleasures throughout his life. Randy enjoyed listening to music and was especially known for his love of singing and playing guitar. He also liked watching sports, specifically the Minnesota Vikings, and he treasured the time he spent with family. Whether playing cards or enjoying a game of pool, he brought warmth, laughter, and companionship wherever he was.

Randy is survived by his daughters, Ashley (Brandon) Nichols and Nicole Hale. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Victoria Nichols, Vivienne Nichols and grandcats, Winifred and Piper, who were part of the family he held so dear. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron (Ann) Hale, Kathy (Jim) Ginnan and Rob (Diana) Hale, as well as many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hale; his mother, Shirley Hale; and his brother, Rick Hale.

Randy will be remembered with love for his vibrant spirit, his kindness, and the joy he brought to family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.

Family and friends will gather from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
