Edward Eugene Livingston, age 91, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9. 2024. Born on August 30,1932, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, he was the son of Irean and Edward Livingston along with his two sisters, Peggy and Janet. Edward was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served in combat during the Korean war.
Edward married Janet Stein in his hometown, where they welcomed three sons Gary, Greg and Ted. After Janet's passing in 1976, Edward later found love again and married Kay Benecasa. The couple spent 33 happy years together, residing in Lakeview, Ohio. Edward was a skilled floor specialist and eventually owned his own business. His passion for fishing was well-known among his friends and family, a hobby he enjoyed sharing with loved ones. Upon retiring he fulfilled his dream of living by Indian lake. Lakeveiw, Ohio, where he spent his days fishing and cherishing moments with Kay.
Ed is survived by his wife, Kay; sons, Gary (Brooke), Greg (Lucy), Ted; stepdaughter, Diane and stepson, Tony; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Irean and Edward Livingston; First wife, Janet and daughter-in-law, Anita as well as a community of friends who felt his impact deeply.
His spirit and legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 464 Madison Ave, Russells Point, OH 43348. Lunch will be provided following service. A graveside service with military honors will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409.
