Edna Pearl Mathis

MATHIS, Edna Pearl "Maw-Maw", age 87, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007. She was born November 26, 1919 in Spring Place, GA. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Riverside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mathis. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law's, Delbert and Karen Mathis, Douglas and Cathy Mathis; four grandchildren, Rachelle and husband Dane Hoyt, Ryan and wife Kelly Mathis, Joshua Mathis, and Katie Mathis and fiance Matt Fugate; four great-grandchildren, Sophia and Cameron Mathis, Kristopher Hoyt and Madison Fugate; numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 from 11:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Little officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
