Edna S. Gibson

Rev. Edna S. (Miracle) Gibson, 65, of Dayton, OH, went to be with the Lord April 4, 2017. Edna was born in Hyden, Kentucky on April 21, 1951 to Sam and Margie Brock. She married Everett Gibson on September 3, 2011 in Dayton, OH.
Edna was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for several nursing homes in Dayton. She was the Pastor of Dayspring Pentecostal Church of God in Dayton, was a disc jockey and had her own radio broadcast on WQRP in Dayton. The church was her life and she played several instruments; the guitar, the mandolin, the banjo and the dulcimer and she loved to sing. She loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Everett; her mother, Margie Brock; her first husband, Billy Miracle, Sr.; a son, Billy Ray (Kasey) Miracle, Jr.; a daughter, Melissa Miracle; two stepsons Steve (Bonny) Gibson and Randy (Carol) Gibson; grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Amber, Billy III and Harlan Miracle, Bethany Miracle, Mark (Emily) Gibson, Joseph, Christopher and Shaun Gibson; two sisters, Diana Warren and Jennie Johnson; five brothers, Henry, Boyd, Todd (Leslie), Robert (Sheila) and Joe Brock; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Edna was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Tressa McCormick.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH with Pastors Ammon Williams and Preston David Ball officiating. Visitation will be held the evening before on April 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton, OH
