Easton Marie Reed

Easton Marie Reed, devoted mother, cherished daughter, dedicated sister, and loving fiancée, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026. Born on July 4, 1992, in Dayton, Ohio, Easton was the beloved daughter of Andrea and James Smith, and Mike Reed, all of New Carlisle, Ohio.

Easton was the beloved daughter of Andrea & James Smith of New Carlisle and Mike Reed of New Carlisle, Ohio. She is also survived by her son, Nolan Lawson; fiancé Dustin Logan; siblings, Justin (Ashlee), Smith, Nina Smith, Austin Reed and Tre Reed; nephew, Callan Smith; grandparents, Ruth (Mike Helton) Reed, Mikel Smith, Brenda and Donald Demotte, Patty and Mark Hartman, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vickie and Bernie Brannon, Jimmy Lawson, and Dennis Terry, her best friend and aunt, Regina Reed, cousin, Marcy Hartman.

A graduate of Tecumseh High School in 2010, Easton had a passion for Halloween, crafting, and the outdoors, especially fishing. Being a mother was her greatest joy, she loved spending time with her son, Nolan especially going on bike rides. She leaves a legacy of kindness and warmth. Known for her love of the casino and scratch-off tickets, she was generous and caring, always ready to help those around her. Some of her greatest memories were made while she visited her mamaw Ruth everyday.

Easton’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and kindness during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SiSCA, 8172 Washington Church Road, Dayton, Ohio 45458 honoring her love for animals, especially her dog, Shiloh.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424 followed by a funeral service. Burial will take place at Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
