Earl Mullins

August 8, 1936 — February 10, 2016

Mullins, Earl W., age 79 of Miamisburg passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 8, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil Mullins Sr. and Delia & George Woolery; sister Ida Young and son-in-law Dale McCullough.

Earl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley; daughters Sonia McCullough and Sheila (Jack) Thompson; sons, Earl Jr. and Joe Mullins; grandchildren, Angel, Jennifer, Dustin, Bubba, Caleb, Olivia and Helena; great-grandchildren, Camryn, Tanner, Renner and Kaidyn; brothers, Virgil (Delores) and George (Linda); sisters, Bonnie, Anna (Milton) and Carol. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Earl was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for many years and had recently retired. He also enjoyed taking trips and riding his Harley with friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Entombment will follow service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Earl's honor to The Hospice of Dayton.
