Douglas "Doug" A. Wendling

Douglas "Doug" A. Wendling, age 66 of Vandalia, Ohio passed away at his residence on March 16, 2026. He was born November 3, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. Son of George and Martha Wendling.

Doug was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Doug enjoyed privacy and being a home body. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, George Wendling; brothers, Dan Wendling and Richard Wendling; brothers-in-law, Willie Gaw and Cliff Pack.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Wendling; siblings, Donna Gaw, Patricia Pack, George (Colleen) Wendling, Edward (Karen) Wendling, Eugene Wendling, and Carol (Tommy) Golden; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11am at Living Word Church, 926 East National Road, Vandalia, Ohio 45377.
