Dorothy Carol Brown

Dorothy Carol Brown, 71 of Riverside passed away peacefully on January 11, 2018. She was born in Winchester, KY to the late Hargis Couch and Irene Pendleton. After Dorothy moved to Dayton she met Charles Brown. The two were married in June of 1972. Dorothy worked as a job setter at General Motors - Delphi. She retired after many years of service. She loved to travel and had a passion for animals. Dorothy took great pride in her family. She was a loving and caring, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, son, Charles (Angela) Brown; daughters, Diane (Buck) Gross, Kathy (Jim) Lukosky, and Brenda (Red) Farmer; brothers, David (Edna) Couch and Roy (Sheila) Pendleton; grandchildren, Mike (Crystal) Gross, Charlie (WaDonna) Farmer, Shawn Farmer, Tim Brown, and Marilyn Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel from 4pm - 7pm. Funeral service will be held the next day, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:30 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
